In an effort to save Boro from his imprisonment in the Astral Plane, more than half a dozen halflings stepped forward to risk their lives on a desperate attempt to regain their captured comrade. You see, Boro was taken by Psurlons weeks ago while attempting to summon one for his famed halfling circus, the psurlons did not appreciate this and so instead, took him captive. In order to save Boro, the assembled halflings needed flutes. After losing all of the flutes available in an earlier reconnaissance mission to the Astral Plane, they had acquired the 3 remaining flutes in ALL of Tyr. The halflings then proceeded with the ritual to gain entrance to the Astral Plane. Upon arrival the 8 halflings (Lowe, Puras', Sprite #, Craz #, Dove, Sysiphos, Wanderer, and Silk) were met by what appeared to be an exact duplicate of Puras. He explained that he was the Astral image of the heroic halfling and he was here to help them rescue Boro. Soon, the 8 halflings were met by an image of each of them, all looking EXACTLY like their physical counterpart. After the beginning magic show was over, the halflings were all asked to concentrate on Boro's form. They each called upon a part of Boro that he or she remembered best, his patience, his selflessness, his heroism, his skill in armed combat, or anything else that stuck out about Boro. Before the halflings' eyes, not one, but TWO images of Boro appeared. The halflings were all VERY surprised and were caught off guard when asked to help join the two pieces of Boro back together again. Each halfling layed his or her hands upon each Boro and concentrated on restoring them to one Boro. While this was occurring a strange force RIPPED Lowe from his position near the Boros and off of all Athas to a region called "The Outer Realm". While Lowe tried to regain his senses and get back to the Astral Plane, the others were very confused about his sudden absence. As soon as Lowe was pulled back to his place in the city of Tyr, he contacted Craz through mind walking and asked for assistance in getting back to the Astral Plane. Craz came as soon as the feet of the second fastest halfling in Athas could carry him and brought Lowe back to the Astral Plane. All the halflings present were soon asked to join with one of the two Boros and help them in their quest to become one again. Always trusting anything that looks like Boro and sounds like Boro, the halflings quickly agreed and accompanied the Astral images to the Forest Temple hidden far past the Ashen Wastes and the cauldron. On arrival at the temple, the two images immediately changed to psurlons and attacked the halflings present. The halflings very quickly noted that they were missing quite a few of their number, with Puras, Sysiphos, Lowe and Silk being the only ones present. As soon as the fight began Lowe got The Lady Silk out of the way and asked her to call for help. This left only Puras, Sysiphos, and Lowe to fight back the HORDE of Psurlons pouring through the recently made tear in the fabric of reality. The psurlons were initially intimidating, but it was soon learned that they were not much up against 3 halflings with VERY powerful psionics of their own. None of the psurlons psionic attacks were having any effect because of the psionic shielding each warrior halfling had. This made the psurlons resort to physical attacks which they soon learned were also useless against 3 individuals with many magics to protect against the like. In short, although the halflings were vastly outnumbered, they had the psurlons outclassed. But with the seemingly limitless psurlons attacking, the halflings knew they couldn't last FOREVER... This is when Lowe used his psionic powers to use the Psurlon commanders' (DraKic,Zexzt and Kra Chok) own monsters against them. Lowe took over the minds of as many psurlons as he could and commanded them all to destroy each other! With the help of the magical Fire of Puras and the Blades of Sysiphos, the Psurlon armies were turned back! Kra Chok was nowhere to be seen, but DraKic and Zexzt were still around. Seeing that the halflings would soon win, Lowe made a simple demand of the psurlons "Return Boro to us or suffer the consequences!" At that the psurlons pulled back and while DraKic was held hostage, Zexzt went and retrieved Boro. As soon as mind-contact was made with Boro the halflings and the recently arriving BBS Glimmer released the hostage psurlon and left for the Sitting Lounge in Shadow Square. After an initial mindscan by Lowe revealed that this really was Boro, the halflings (All 8 and more united once again) bombarded Boro with question after question. After answering as many as he could, which was very few due to his lack of the memory of the last few weeks, Boro decided he was tired. Lowe then suggested that Boro see Chesia in Caravan Way to determine if Boro was alright and not further influenced by the psurlons. Chesia found some odd changes made in the mind AND soul of Boro, but before she could remark as to the nature of those changes, she and Lowe were BOTH ripped from Athas and back to the "Outer Realm."
